I have no problem making connections and critical thinking, I fell like in high school that's all we did. However, when writing about it, I struggle. I know what they are saying, and I know what I want to say, but I don't always know how to connect them. Which is why in my last essay I think I need more quotes and more connections because I didn't have many in my first draft. I also need to work on organization, I think my pre-writing is what needs work!
I didn't see your final reflection speak to how you think you evolved as a writer, but I want to say that I saw close attention to deal with learning how to join the conversation more smoothly, as well as a real dedication to find a way to master organization. Based on blogs and comments in class discussions, I wonder if it is the process of experimenting with different tools for organization that is most interesting to you, rather than finding the magic strategy. Sometimes it really is about the journey and the process of thinking through the possibilities that teaches us the most.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your dedication to the path I set us out on, even when it got a little bumpy, and your thoughtful contributions during class discussions and our feedback activities.
It's been a pleasure! You are a smart cookie and a hard worker! Keep it up. :)
Yes! Connections are a struggle for me too! I can make general connections, but its when it starts from one connection to the next that it trips me up. But I know I will get the hang of it. We all will! You are a fantastic writer though. Thank you for sharing with me :) It's been a pleasure.
